  The single most amazing sound in the world is hearing Ashlynn's laughter. She laughs often and has been doing so for several months. This morning I was getting ready for church and I could hear her in the kitchen with Jason. He would make some silly sound no doubt accompanied by some ridiculous gesture and facial expression. And then it would happen, she would laugh histerically at him. This continued for probably 20 minutes. I started thinking about all the things we do and sounds we make over and over and over just to hear that wonderful sound.
  I guess I really began thinking about it this morning because we have not heard that laughter in a few days. Ashlynn is cutting a tooth on top and has been screaming and crying for the majority of that time. It was so good to hear the sound of her laughter again this morning. I pray that she remains such a happy fun baby, child, and teen (I won't go any further than that at this point!).

  We went to Mississippi for Christmas. We left on December 19th and went to Purvis, MS. We had a good visit with Jason's parents, Pawpaw and Granny. Ashlynn also got to play with Julie (her cousin), Tate and Cassi. Julie and Tate played so well with Ashlynn. Cassi was not real excited about another baby being around. However, by Christmas Eve she would play a little with Ashlynn. Ashlynn also enjoyed seeing her Aunt Keri and Mawmaw Bobbie.
  
  Ashlynn had her first real food while we were in Purvis. She had green beans and liked them!!
  
  We went to Mobile, AL to visit my Gramma and dad, Grandpa, on the 22nd. Ashlynn got lots of toys from them and really had a great time playing with them all. She got a Tickle Me Elmo TMX from them. Probably her favorite gift from them is a love bug doll. She likes to chew on the tag and antennas.
  
  We spent Christmas Eve with Jason's family at his cousin, Shanon's house.
  
  We headed to Pearl, MS to see my parents, Grammy and Papa, on the 25th. She got many more toys here. Her favorite toy of all is an exersaucer Grammy and Papa got her. She got to play with Uncle Victor and Aunt Lyndsey and Uncle Devin. She had so much fun. She also was able to see Uncle Anthony again for a short time.
  
  Of course the dogs were there, Rascal, Abby, and Brinkley. Ashlynn was amazed by them. She wanted to touch them and loved it when Brinkley would lick her (even though mommy did not love it).
  
  We also got together with some of my friends from high school. Ashlynn enjoyed playing with Aiden, Carsen and Camden.
  
  Ashlynn had a cough and was congested the whole trip, but by the end she was running a fever and not feeling well at all. She is doing much better now.
  
  We had a great trip, but are glad to be back home. Now we can get back into a routine.
